Brought Mum to see the doctor. Since we are around Bugis area, I had an impromptu meet up with Ms Duh since God knows when(Sorry Siwon~ Oh.. and Ms Duh also). The weather's nice and chilly with spring rain to reckon a go at 鲜得来。I look at recipes while we were wait for the steamboat ingredients to come. Had such a hearty meal that we almost had to wade out of our seats.

Yupps. Must be the weather for everyone to come up with steamboat. Teresa couldn't make it because she's preparing for her wedding (OMG) so Jeylne, Natalie and I had fun at this steamboat outlet in Novena. Reminisce about the time where we're young and free of worldly happenings, then had a bitch fest about working life in general. The spicy soup base provide us with the fire we need to continue talking about that irate part of our lives for two hours. Well, at least we know we don't have to organise the next primary school meet-up. It will be at Teresa's wedding.

I feel like I'm moving backwards, which is kind of scary. Because I didn't think I've put the seat belts on. There are times when I just; you know, see this immature selfish brat when I look at the mirror and I hate it.

I need to throw that mirror away...

My tears fall in church today. I feel like hugging Cin or just someone; anyone.

Met up with Cin and Drew, ended up watching the play "Rebound-er" (or was it Re-bouncer?) It was a meaningful play; revolves around the theme: 跌倒了就要爬起来，这就是人生。

I admit, I am considered a non-believer in the house of Gods, and I don't feel as relaxed as I've liked to. But the fact still stands that, I believe HE exist. Contradictory? I've like to think not.

无风不起浪。 Does that mean that every listed Deity out there (whatever the religion is) exist? I don't know. Nobody knows for sure. So, I stand at this weird cross-junction pondering what to believe. Because looks can be deceiving, and humans love to use this to their advantage.

I can't even trust myself, what makes you think I can trust something that I don't see; however big the effects is on the lives of the people surrounding me?

That is why I believe in spirits. That is why I am a free-thinker. I am accepting to all religion's preachings because of the basis they preach; to do good. Though it is hard to give my heart to any particular religion.

How can I give so fully to something what I don't have?

Moved I was, every time I enter HIS court. But which HE am I talking about? Do I really know?

And that, is why I did not raise up my hand to accept the pastor's prayer.

Someone should really shout at me for updating like once a month but I’m guessing there are only a few who read my blog and they all have first hand updates so it doesn’t really matter right?

No matter, here’s some update after the mini hiatus.

16 August, S.T.G.C.C
In which Andrew flew kites, Eugene got bored and Patrick got sand into his eyes… Well, not really but since they don’t read my blog they wouldn’t care right? Neng and I stood all throughout the cosplay competition and I thought I was going to have leg cramps. Cindy joined us a little later. We amble around aimlessly and bought lots of stuff. Not many pictures, so there’s no point posting. Oh, T.C.C for dinner was nice.

26 August, Japanese Food
Cannot remember why we met up but Cindy and I had dinner at one of Central’s Japanese restaurant. Ladies enjoy a discount on Wednesday. The set meal was quite worth it.

29 August, Steakhouse
It was supposed to be an outing with Phing, Iris and Med to celebrate my birthday. Quite a last minute thing so Med and Iris gave up. Phing and I went to have Marutama Ramen at Liang Court like I mentioned in my previous post “Eating Eating”. The standard was there and I think the Spicy Chicken Ramen tasted the same. We booked a room for two at Party World and shopped around Kino while we wait for our turn. The two of us had a lot of fun singing, no one to horde the mic, and the room given was big. They even have a leg massager inside. I was overjoyed to see Super Junior’s “Sorry Sorry” Wonder Girl’s “Nobody” and Phing felt the same with Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” and so many songs from Britney. Dinner at Steakhouse was good. The sirloin was up to standard and the serving was actually quite big. Prices are on the “deep pockets” range so if you’re not willing to fork out your money, then do not go there. The must try will definitely be their Crème Brulee. Best in Singapore. (I don’t know about JB and Batam.) On the way back, I saw Serene and her supposed new boyfriend Bang. Which is supposed to give more ammunition for the…

30 August, Alleged gossip session slash 见家长日
My daughter has the tendency to fall in love too hard too fast. It is not on my side of the family. Serene, blame it on your other father, okay? We did not meet Bang but it turn out bad anyway. Gossip and more gossip end the night.

05 to 12 September, Holiday
Yes, I was in Malaysia for my birthday. Work hard and the family trip seems so much more rewarding. I bought a lot of stuff, mostly books though. Since Facebook is not cooperating with the upload, maybe I will post the pictures on Multiply… Wait, let me try again.

14 to 18 September, Major Toilet Construction
Leak downstairs caused a lot of hassle. It’s a good thing Dad’s in this line or it would’ve caused a lot more trouble in the future. Trust me, I know.

Also, Happy Birthday to Fizh!!! 又大一岁了，恭喜恭喜~

19 to 20 September, Cindy’s place
Last minute thing, but since Cindy’s parents are not in so we thought it was okay. Too bad I didn’t bring my swimming gear and Cindy’s got a paper to write on. I stared at the TV and the TV stared at me. Oh 小强’s issue ensues some time between fashion programs and water boiling… Serene and I lazily watched “Ultraviolet” as Hari Raya creeps in.

21 September, Outing
Fizh 请客！It’s been so long since we saw each other. Good food at the place he worked and lovely gossips at the ice-cream parlor. Bowling for three rounds, with substandard results though Patrick showed improvements. Dinner at “Cafeteria” was… not good. The mushroom soup had a Chinese mushroom smell and taste, the spaghetti’s base sauce tasted like Campbell’s tomato soup and looks just as diluted. My steak tasted like Chinese Stir Fry and I don’t even want to comment on the other food. The few orders that would’ve gotten a pass would be the carrot and orange juice, (how do you mess up fresh juice?) the signature dessert and the calamari rings. Oh and the black forest dessert was okay too. I vow not to order main course there again.

23 September, K.T.V
Wasted quite a bit of money because I did not get into the mood, which is kind of weird due to the fact that I love singing. Tell me why?

I may be going on a hiatus after this mini one. Major events coming up will be:

1) I really do not think it is acceptable for me to be doing this project as there are restrictions. Prompted: Not an employee. Even when I was one, I wasn't paid.

2) There are other obligations that I have. Like my life? My new job? There are a lot of things that I treasure. Especially essentials like... Oh I don't know, my sleep and sanity (no matter how little I seem to have had.)

3) You do realise I have a schedule? Getting paid means for me to follow them!

4) Shouldn't it be known that the back-up plan is made to be followed and not abandoned? What the hell are you all trying to do? You are managing a department are you not? So when the personnel tell you to fall onto the back-up plan because the 1st idea was stupid, why did you not just follow!?!

To conclude, I am not sure I can deal with idiots who make my friends suffer. I HATE YOU(s)!!!

*Taking a deep breathe* I am fine. Really. It had just been really stressful and I am broke and its not nice and even though I think I had a wonderful new job and all the traveling sucks when you can only go between your office to the hotel. Plus, almost missing the plane on your first work trip? It makes my mentor thinks I am like tardy when traveling or something. He even went as far as to say, "Typical woman." Hey! That was being stereotypically egoistical and biased to boot!!! The security can also be a torture at times. Not to mention the twelve hour shifts (twenty-four if you stack it up) and the secrecy of it all. Trying to up my stress threshold aren't you?

Did I mention my lecturer, failed me? I mean, who fucking fails Final Year Project? (Do not be tempted to say "You", I am so pissed about it that I will fucking hit you.)

The only happy thing that seems to be happening is that I finally get to meet my friends up. Thank you swine flu. Happy Birthday to 阿金 and Cin. Didn't get much for you all but lets hope you like the gifts. Also need to thank Fizh and Iwai for the T-shirts, Shiraz and Juan for the chocolates. The fun part about going overseas nowadays seems to be getting gifts for your friends and see what they get you in return. O.o Let's hope every one enjoy ice-cream and do meet up again soon.

Being thankful is a lesson everyone need to learn. Thank God its nothing big and... thanks for giving me enough time. I did not want anyone to flunk because of me. Definitely not one of my best buds. Thank God my brain is working.

I notice fickle-minded-ness does not only exist within the souls of university students. My Final Year Project lecturer is a prime example. Met Andrew for L - Change the World. Another one who introduced me to a new gang of people. You brothers/sisters really know I lack companionship man! The ending struck a chord. Someone as pea-brained and insensitive as me is most probably feeling sad because I will not get to see Ken'ichi Matsuyama as Lawliet L again. No, it is not the theme of humane goodness. Definitely not.

Hi all, welcome yonder. Thanks for making my life so rich and fun filled. This will be the last post of this blog, as I am tired of the agonising minutes taken to publish and republish. Gosh look! Its been what? 4 years!?! Birthday's just over, and realise that I am finally 21. It was passed rather peacefully (except for the Fish & Co rap part *blushes*). Anyway, thanks dajie for making the effort of not dropping the cake. Wahaha think I will let the joke of easy? No-ope! Will say these for years to come, like Xiao Ser's "Duh!" and Cin's a lot of other jokes la~ Anyway, back to birthday. Want to thank my poly brudders and sistas for making my birthday so special! Ice-cream cake! The very first in my life! What can I say I am a easily satisfied person. Must also thank Drew, Gene, Pat they all. Was feeling rather down that day, but they cheered me up and pulled me thru. Thanx for the perfume! The bottle is lovely! *laughs* Oh and how can I forget colleagues? Thank for covering my butt(or not) and thanks for the elephant plushie. I will thus knight it - Elpho. Elpho is very cute you know, wahaha. Plus Mummi, Ris and Med hor~ Like finally go down to play settler's again. So good the feeling of being ard close buddies. *smiles*

Of course when we talk about birthdays, how can we miss out Fish Fish? Wahaha Happy happy birthday yah. Okay, maybe I should say belated by now? Thanks for the dinner, the fun talks and the *wahahaha* act gay! I was totally beside myself la~ But, I was a naturally touchy-feel-ly person from the start. If you're *ahem* at the wrong place at the wrong time, you will know. (In this case, Pat, Drew, Gene *my very willing demo volunteer* and Kai)

Was doubting myself again these few weeks, what with people all around me getting into uni. Kept pondering about whether I should further studies and such, but cannot focus. "Follow your emotions!" Odin Lowe once told Heero Yuy, and he did so; thus saving Earth. But I am not the 'Perfect Soldier' and I guess, to some extend, I don't want to, especially not holding my heart out where someone can easily break it again. Functional wise, I think I should get a cert, to process me along if you get what I mean but seriously, what I want, I cannot get. So why bother?

I had been thinking, I kinda reached a bottle neck or something. Like again. Remember that blank out period in secondary four, so near to the exams and suddenly its like I forgot how to even eat and sleep, let alone understand formulas and equations. My English totally went downhill and stopped to my relief, 1 grade away from the original mark. Arts suffered. I couldn't write a story to save my life at that point of time! I flunked Literature for my mids. The horror... And now, Dajevu~ *shudders* I didn't know why, its like the volcano erupted or something and its scaring me, cause, the last time, it took 16 years. Bloody 4 years later it happened again! When next? 2 years later? Sheesh! I hope its just a false alarm. Don't think I can handle not functioning, not thinking, rotting, no creativity, no strength, no control and no protection / security.

I miss the old me, who dared fight bullies, I want me back, he who is eloquent, witty, confident and smiles. I want the strong me back, not the wimpy, tired, OLD, frustrated, stressed-out, stabbed, broken shell of a me. I hate hiding in the blanket, shivering from the cold; the inner cold that blankets and hot soup couldn't cure. I hate reaching out in my sleep, to only encounter the pillow. I miss the times I wake up, to the feelings of a warmth; Arms wrapped around; encircling, heart beat in sync. The feeling of the soft thump-thumping against my back. The feather soft breath lightly caressing my neck. Oh my god.... now I sounded desperate. Hey! Maybe Shinigami is right! I do need to get laid! LOL

Speaking of getting laid, I do think I need extra affection... So anyone need a rent-a-girlfriend? Wahaha now I'm crapping. Gee~ next I will be posting ads for lovers *bleh*

On a lighter note, I will start a new blog. If you are thinking about the Chinese one, no. Chinese blog is for me to, vent my quirks, make sure my plot bunnies get fed, say stuff I don't feel eloquent enough to say in English, or just to write. Thoughts that I had been pondering about, that I feel like expressing but cant seem to put on paper. *laughs* Must be the Chinese dictionary beside me giving the stress.
