I was distracted from my reverie when Lu's niece patted my hand. Her other hand was occupied by a packet of green tea drink. And she said, "Gor Gor, 给你。"

"Okay, deep breaths...."mentally rang out as I took a deep breath, then slowly let it out. "Thank you. But erhm, I am not Gor Gor.... I am Jie Jie" to that, she gave me that same confused face every time I corrected her. Then sat down on the bed beside me and stare at the screen I have been staring at for the last 2 hours. (P.S: 那小脚晃啊晃的邮购可爱。)

Lu came in not so long after that, since her niece did not return. To find 2 people staring blankly at the computer screen.

"You should do the cleanup every once in a while, instead of it taking so long now. Oh and we need to get you another mouse."

My words broke the trance and the kid just blinked then stood to leave the room. Sometimes, I wonder...

While out getting the mouse, we got some groceries as I'm staying for dinner. End up getting caught in the rain so when back into the mall for another round of aimless window shopping.

As one can expect from the hospitality of Lu's sister, I was asked to stay for dinner. Home cooked meals are always great barter for service, and you can never go wrong with salmon and greens. Mushrooms, corn, garden green salad and mash potatoes tasted really good as well, and the ending note of a dessert; that carrot cake is heavenly.

Cleaned up and got back to systems updates, re-installations and patches. It wasn't until almost 11 when I finish up and the lull of the kid playing in the living room had turned into silence.

Waking Lu, who've fallen asleep waiting; and headed for the living room to once again thank her sister for the hospitality before going downstairs with Lu to the cab.

Well, all in a day's work I guess.

There was a family meeting on the first day of 2009 and Neng is going back to camp at 10PM. He was pissed that he had to sub another for guard duty.

Tomorrow I have a check-up at 3:25pm and my Mum needs to get to TTSH by 11am. I wonder if I can pass the medical as I really really need a full time job badly. Like if-I-don't-get-it-I-will-die-of-being-broke badly.

Meeting Phing they all for I don't remember what. It will be fun though. Then 阿金， they all for LAN gaming. That I can't be sure. (The fun part I mean, I really don't see the point of paying and lost.)

Meeting Cindy on Sunday at Cityhall, 3:30PM. I have a feeling I will be late.

Then Mum need to go KKH for scan on 5 Jan at 2PM, 6 Jan 2:10PM for doctor. It is weird that they cannot put it together and I had to make two trips. I am feeling fucking silly.

Meeting Phing again on 10 Jan. That will be like the first time I go over to as far west as Jurong since, I don't know... Polytechnic years? (Wait... Is Jurong even in the west?)

I am blabbering so someone stop me. Must be not having enough sleep. I should like totally go sleep now. Good night... or day if that's how you see it.

I woke, groggily as the bus came to a stop. Some-where in my mind, it registers as a sign for me to finally go to the toilet. My companions and I slowly made our way down the bus, waiting for the passengers in front. There was no rush, after all, we were not in Singapore anymore.

I wonder why there's always such scurry back there, maybe the pace in Singapore is too hectic. I yearn for the calm, peaceful slow-down, the reason for my trip. I was getting a little too tired of work life and I kind of figured that I need a rest. And that is when I feel a nudge at my back. The man practically glared at me. I sighed, "So much for spacing out."

By now, my companions are already at the provision shop located conviniently near the food court's automated sliding door. I strolled in, even though my brain is reminding me of the bus driver's speech as we alight the bus. "Twenty minutes!" He said with a roll of his tongue. He sounded so very Indian even though he is Malay. Anyway, as I step into the shop, I could distinctly hear R complaining excitedly (believe me, only she could make it sound exciting) about the hygiene of the crackers packed in oily, transparent plastic bags. I start to shop around, looking at the 'little chicken biscuits' and 'egg floss biscuits' that my mother loves so much. I was still deciding if I should buy the biscuits and bring it back to Singapore or should I wait until the trip back home. Just then, my brother, N showed me my favorite 'coffee peanuts'. "That settles it!" I thought, "I'm gonna wait till the return trip..." I know myself very well, if I buy it now, by the time I get back, all will be nothing.

G, was asking around to see if we want to buy anything. Her father gave her a whole bag full of coins and she was hoping we could finish it there. Its really heavy. We bought drinks, actually a 1.5l big bottle of mineral water. And R, after happily nagging me about the different 'pocky' dips available in the shop, settles for a box of chocolate pocky. She also bought some sweets. Well, I should say G paid for all of us and the plastic bag containing the coins is now three quarter's its original weight. And the shop-keeper is smiling at us for giving him so much coins. I pity the next person paying up without exact change.

We board the bus as the bus driver roll his eyes at us. I know we are definately late when I saw all the other passengers already seated. We sit down, had some sweets and let the drone of the traffic lull us to sleep. And thats when I remember, I havent go to the toilet...

Most of my free time are now spent in 2 places:
1) My bed(my personal place of escape)
2) Trains

Noticed that I saw/heard quite a few interesting stuff on trains... (remember the kissing ladies and the bitches? If not, how bout meeting friends and colleagues?) I mean, since then I've gone, 'Ooo... I gotta blog this...' when I see things happen on train... Here's more encounters:

1) Hmm... Duno how to describe this... :blush: Saw a guy rubbing his... at the linkage section btw door 17 and door 18 raffles place down. His left hand was actually in his pockets and his hands were like *rub* *rub*~ How do I know he's not just scratching his balls? There's a wet spot.

2) Ytd... Ed was going to Toa Payoh for his gathering... Anyway, we were on this train to cityhall.... Think there are some comments bout my attitude towards life bah... Like my opinions on how the people using the train should be more considerate, and how that particular train driver of that particular train we were riding on yesterday will most probably be a newbie as quite a lot of people bumped into each other as the train jerked to a stop (twice) when nearing Newton. I almost knock Ed unconscious... (I guess >_< )

3) I was almost smirking~... Saw this lady this morning as I waited for the train... I was like OMG! She looks exactly like the female version of Rong Xiang!!! She was even wearing (his!) customary white shirt and her hair down... curly... >_< OMG... its female Rong Xiang~

4) Saw Jong Yao on train... lolx But he doesnt seem to recognise me~ -_- We alight @ the same stop but he boarded the CHP bus... My guess is he is working somewhere ard here like me!

Okie... gotta go do critical updates as they are coming in... Wish me more luck in finding my juicy bits to sustain my day ;)

Okay, I admit I'm stupid. Why did I rush over to Place 2 when I know that its going to reach 10:30am, which is the time for the rumoured fire drill practice? Work obligations maybe... In the end, while everyone who got to the Expo (gathering area) with wallets in hand... I have a few sheets of paper with me... And:
1) Never bring hp with me
2) nor my wallet

But kind Edwin 'rescued' my breakfast lolx...

Random: I forgot to bring my handphone to work -_- wth~

Went to Uncle Jeff's surprise chalet... Cousins planned so darn hard... It was interesting how they kept it from him. Anyway, I work ard the area so Jacky and Josh send me over... Mum and Dad came over late and guess what, they're caught in the HUGE downpour!!! Gosh they look like they juz when swimming in the near by sea... It was fun bbq-ing and chatting and playing and staying up late.... But I guess I suffered for the next day... Was so darn sleepy... Oh well...

Heard 2 ladies bitching bout the 'gahmen' and 'campanis' it was pretty entertaining for my morning ride... Cousin Jasper called to ask for my help regarding some flight thingy... I was like:
1) Huh? You called from M'sia... To my mobile!?! o_O
2) Erhm.... I am working wor~
3) Wei Sheng! Ni Chu Mai Wo!!!
4) Sianz... Okie lah whatever~

On a happy note, its quite free so Im using my time to update blog, play runescape and neopets... Oh and checking on stuff so we can go into KL this time (praying for a smooth trip... in fact, praying that nothing happens before the trip...)

Hmm, just finish making kaya yesterday. Am so tired~ So Mum and I went out to shop (for our yoga outfit). Anyway, I ended up getting my blazer~ -_-/// Coz, last night, Ser came over and she told my Mum about grad day (not really tell her, more like we were just chatting when Mum saw the pants she bought for grad day.. That bring on the topic of my attire needing a pocket and so to blazer~ *sweat*)

I am bored. Well, not really. Juz that, how would you feel? Yesterday was one of the worst day this September.

Sighz. I cant believe I worshipped the porcelein god.... And at Da Jie's Office some more... -_-'" Im so so so sorry!!! Well, I think I got food poisoning or something. But the doctor insisted its stress or something. Didnt get much information in. (Well, maybe except stomach acid in my nose. Eww~!) But I remember her asking me what am I working as. And I just told her, "IT stuff" she nodded *her approval?* and smiled at me... Whatever.

Am currently wasting away at home. Cant blame me. What else can I do!?! Work had so much so that it took up some major parts of my life. So, without work. *shudders* Well, I got backup so I can also work at home. Mum is now considering if I should follow them to their holiday just in case. I dont want to! Things had already been planned man! I dun wanna spoil it! Arghz. Just not my month eh?

Mini pool today with Am. Photo hunt is so nice too. Its good to relax a bit at lunch. Feel more energised for work. A colleague named Kok Wee is going to sit behind me... He is very ~油嘴滑舌~ hahaha he say talking crap to me makes him feel younger. Nvm I like to hear him crap too. Makes me *know* Im younger and it has a de-stressing effect too. Oh, need to remember to pass him my Song Bank tml ;) Hope he will remember to return it to me...

She bought it for me when I was having flu the last time. I had been keeping it eversince. (Well, I cant have flu all the time can I?) Last night, as I sat there contemplating, about whether to go see a docter, it appeared and I realise I only have 4 pills left. I took 2, hoping that your care and concern will warm me, even if you have left. I felt better alright...

Im coughing now instead.
And guess what? I think my brother is starting to sneeze, so I offered to pass him the last 2 pills. While I was extracting it out of its cocoon, it decided to jump into my sea of tissues (aka the rubbish bin) right in front of my brother. He was only able to save 1. Hope the other 1 will RIP~
